Nominating Committee

Purpose, goals, and desired outcomes:

  • Identify candidates for Directors and Officers:
    • (1) Review candidates nominated for Directors and make recommendations on selection of new Board Members.
    • (2) Identify and make recommendations on selection of candidates to advance to Officer.

Deliverable:

  • Ballot of officers and directors for 2024 election.

Duration:
Two consecutive nomination cycles (approximately January - June annually).

Time commitment:
Availability to review all submitted nominations (approx. 1-3 hours annually depending on the number of candidates). Monthly conference calls between November and July, annually.

Eligibility:
ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ member in good standing. 

Requirements:
Knowledge of ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ and general knowledge of governance processes and objectives.

Key success measurements:
Nominations made for all positions on the annual ballot.

Committee/task force make up:
Defined in Bylaws.

Resources available to complete the project or task:
Nomination packets from individuals interested in being elected as Voting Directors; roster of candidates for vacancies on the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ Foundation Board of Directors, as determined by the Foundation Board of Directors Nominating Committee; roster of candidates for officer positions as determined  by the Bylaws.
